Although the fluorescent penetrant detection technology is very well implemented when applied to the outer surface of the workpiece, once it is applied to the inner surface of a complex cavity, such as the inner surface of some pipelines or cast parts, the huge size of the traditional fluorescent searchlight cannot be penetrated. The ultraviolet fluorescence endoscope combines the endoscope technology and the penetration detection technology. The compact structure design and the miniaturized appearance size of the industrial video endoscope can penetrate into the inner holes of some complex cavities. , The inspection can be achieved by the 365nm wavelength ultraviolet light source emitted by the front end of the probe objective lens of the endoscope, and even some endoscopes can use the working channel reserved in the probe to spray out fluorescence such as compressed air, water, fluorescent penetrant and developer Detect the required materials, and provide the light source of black light for inspection.

By applying this method, it is possible to inspect internal micro-cracks that cannot or are not easily seen by ordinary vision. However, this technology requires a relatively stable and sufficient intensity of ultraviolet fluorescence output in order to obtain obvious yellow-green fluorescence imaging. Generally, it is required that the probe must be 10cm away from the object to be measured to reach 1000μW/cm2, and the intensity of visible light (white light) in the ultraviolet illumination light It should be as small as possible to reduce the interference to the fluorescent development, generally should be less than 20 Lux.
